In 2018, ITP opted to centralise its IT and online product solutions to its HQ in Eton/Windsor situated on the fringes of outer London. This coincided with the adoption and implementation of Amadeus cytric, the world’s premier online travel and expense platform for Business Travel. ITP is one of a few global resellers of cytric.

In the autumn of 2018, ITP’s first ever self-build Business Travel Portal will be deployed. The portal will be a pivotal moment in the Corporate Business Travel industry with its ability to handle Agency and Corporate Clients in the same system.

The centralisation of ITP’s IT will be in step with maintaining the perfect balance between the organisation’s local values ITP is founded on and the ability to be a premier global business travel group.

As such, ITP are now looking to recruit additional staff at its HQ in Eton over the next few years to keep up with the growth plans and changing demands of the organisation.

 

The challenge

ITP is to deploy and manage Amadeus cytric in 60 countries around the world within the next two years.
Most partners utilise Amadeus as a GDS but as cytric is GDS agnostic, other GDS systems will also be involved.

Amadeus cytric Travel and Expense is the OBT of the future; global market share will grow to around twenty-five per cent over the next two years.

ITP has developed systems and portals to deliver a unique range of global and local travel services with cytric at its core for its customers and partners.

 

The job

In your workday, amongst other tasks, you will utilise Office 365, ITP’s self-developed Travel Portal, Amadeus Selling Platform Connect and Amadeus cytric.

Relatively new to the UK, Amadeus cytric is an OBE delivered by Amadeus and one you will need to learn at lightning speed in order to assist with the setup and upkeep of Partners on cytric and that of their Corporate Clients on Amadeus selling platform.

ITP’s Travel Platform is an easy to operate SAAS platform which you will learn to use in conjunction with other internal management systems.

This is a challenging role in a changeable environment and as such, you must be willing to learn and work on systems that are the future of the business travel industry.

 

How we do it

The team is led by ITP’s Chief Technical Office (CTO) and is structured around an informal tone and culture with a global outlook.

Over the coming two years, as ITP adapts to new systems and structures there will inevitably be numerous changes to setups and workflows and as such you must be very comfortable in such an environment, this is not a standard business travel role.

It is an excellent opportunity to develop self-initiative and be involved in all aspect of the work day processes within the team should you have the right approach.

Sales & Marketing Intern

The challenge

The aim over the coming years will be to strengthen the team with sales and marketing interns and or/or student workers who will take up the challenge of informing and updating partners and corporate clients alike on the benefits of those products, in addition to creating new sites and portals.

 

The job

We would expect applicants to have the relevant education and some experience in the field of sales and marketing but more importantly a disposition to work in a start-up environment with excellent communication skills to interact with our diverse global network.

Tasks to be undertaken would include:

·         Content marketing, online campaigns, article writing, storytelling, company and customer storytelling,
social media update – LinkedIn – Facebook – Instagram.

·         Attend partnership meetings, client meetings, trade events and show

·         Websites and portal building (no coding )

The internship runs a minimum of six months and a maximum of 12 months.

 

How we do it

The team is led by ITP’s Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and is modelled around a

team based

working environment to promote job happiness and tone.

Team oriented, with a flat hierarchy encouraging proactivity and workday self-management. Opinions and input are actively encouraged to engage creativity, achievement and self worth.

Over the coming two years, as ITP adapts to new systems and structures there will inevitably be numerous changes to setups and workflows and as such you must be very comfortable in such an environment, this is not a standard business travel role.

It is an excellent opportunity to develop self-initiative and be involved in all aspects of the workday processes within the team.

Product development and sales intern

Can you see yourself involved in changing the Business Travel Industry by pushing our new products to our Partners at warp speed while assisting them in introducing the products in their own markets?

Would targeting Global Corporate Clients looking for a global travel agency group, be the challenge you can see yourself take on?

 

The job

In co-operation with ITP HQ, research and analyse national markets to find suitable Global Corporate clients for our Business Travel agency group in addition to assisting with the sales drive process.

Set up and develop a knowledge stream from our partners to create better sales tools and processes.

Attend partnership meetings, client meetings, trade events and shows.

The internship runs a minimum of six months and a maximum of 12 months.

 

How we do it

The team is led by ITP’s Chief Technical Office (CTO) and is structured around an informal tone and culture with a global outlook.

Operating as an IT start-up, this will be an excellent opportunity to develop self-initiative and drive a project from its inception to its conclusion in an international setting.

 

Your skill set

To fulfil this role you should have a background that has given you analytical theories and tools that can be tested in a real-world environment to finalise your formal education.
You should be well versed in all office tools and like working with online tools.
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Podio would be advantageous.
English is the corporate language of ITP, if you speak Spanish, German or Chinese this would be advantageous.

 

Salary

The internship is unpaid, but ITP will partake in housing cost, and other practically cost during your stay in Windsor/Eton.
